چکیده

In this paper, we investigate the uniqueness of the phase retrieval problem for the fractional Fourier transform (FrFT) of variable order. This problem occurs naturally in optics and quantum physics. More precisely, we show that if u and v are such that fractional Fourier transforms of order α have same modulus |Fαu| = |Fαv| for some set τ of α’s, then v is equal to u up to a constant phase factor. The set τ depends on some extra assumptions either on u or on both u and v. Cases considered here are u, v of compact support, pulse trains, Hermite functions or linear combinations of translates and dilates of Gaussians. In this last case, the set τ may even be reduced to a single point (i.e. one fractional Fourier transform may suffice for uniqueness in the problem).

A Uniqueness Theorem of the Solution of an Inverse Spectral Problem

This paper is devoted to the proof of the unique solvability ofthe inverse problems for second-order differential operators withregular singularities. It is shown that the potential functioncan be determined from spectral data, also we prove a uniquenesstheorem in the inverse problem.

Phase retrieval with background information

Phase retrieval problem has been studied in various applications. It is an inverse problem without the standard uniqueness guarantee. To make complete theoretical analyses and devise efficient algorithms to recover the signal is sophisticated. In this paper, we come up with a model called phase retrieval with background information which recovers the signal with the known background information...

Existstence and uniqueness of positive solution for a class of boundary value problem including fractional differential equation

In this paper we investigate a kind of boundary value problem involving a fractional differential equation.  We study the existence of positive solutions of the problem that fractional derivative is the Reimann-Liouville fractional derivative. At first the green function is computed then it is proved that the green function is positive. We present necessary and sufficient conditions for existen...

Non-negativity constraints in the one-dimensional discrete-time phase retrieval problem

Phase retrieval problems occur in a width range of applications in physics and engineering such as crystallography, astronomy, and laser optics. Common to all of them is the recovery of an unknown signal from the intensity of its Fourier transform. Because of the wellknown ambiguousness of these problems, the determination of the original signal is generally challenging. Although there are many...

Phase Retrieval In The General Setting Of Continuous Frames For Banach Spaces

We develop a novel and unifying setting for phase retrieval problems that works in Banach spaces and for continuous frames and consider the questions of uniqueness and stability of the reconstruction from phaseless measurements. Our main result states that also in this framework, the problem of phase retrieval is never uniformly stable in infinite dimensions. On the other hand, we show weak sta...
